Pushing the convergence forward, one layer at a time.
From an SMS wallet for the unbanked, to settlement on the card networks, to the orchestration layer: what I built, shipped, patented, said on stage and published, in order. And the way of working and the convictions underneath it.
Four stages of one conviction.
The thesis did not arrive finished. It grew from a question about access into a stack with four layers, and each stage left something in production behind it.
Access
The financial system should work for everyone.
A village in Rwanda without Wi-Fi, where money moved by text message. The Odyssey Project was the first answer: an SMS payment platform for people the system had left out.
Go there → 02 · 2021Rails
A card payment can settle on a blockchain without giving up the network everyone trusts.
At Visa, six patent applications described the pieces: a single-use digital asset, credential-driven on-chain transactions, smart-contract verification, sub-10-second cross-border transfer, non-custodial custody, settlement.
Go there → 03 · 2023Network of networks
Stablecoins are one rail, to be used only where they outperform.
At Nuvei the idea went into production: stablecoin settlement live on Visa and Mastercard rails, a Latin America launch with Rain, BitGo and Visa, and the network-of-networks thesis on the record in PYMNTS and on stage.
Go there → 04 · 2026Layer One and above
Stablecoin payments are only Layer One. Settlement, on-chain FX and tokenized local securities are the prize.
The Capital Markets Convergence set out the full argument, BJ Research began tracking the evidence, and at PXP the stack is being built into an orchestration platform designed to route between many rails.

Nothing in that lane. Pick another.
Six working principles, each with a receipt.
Leadership claims are cheap. Each of these comes with the thing it produced.
- 01
Lead with the point.
Direct, high velocity, execution first. Decisions over deliberation, polished work on the first or second pass, and corrections made in versioned passes rather than endless line edits.

- 02
Ship on real rails.
A pilot proves a slide; production proves a thesis. I would rather put a smaller thing live on the networks everyone already uses than a bigger thing in a sandbox.
In practice Stablecoin settlement live on both Visa and Mastercard rails; the Latin America launch with Rain, BitGo and Visa. See it →
- 03
Discipline over hype.
Stablecoins are one rail in a network of networks. The job is to deploy them only where they genuinely outperform legacy infrastructure, and to say so plainly where they do not.
In practice The network-of-networks thesis in PYMNTS; cited on disciplined use-case identification over hype-driven adoption. See it →
- 04
Treat compliance as a moat.
Regulatory clarity, strong KYB and KYC, and institutional-grade controls are prerequisites, not obstacles. The companies that build them in will win disproportionately over the next three to five years.
In practice Argued in The Capital Markets Convergence, section 07, and in every stage appearance since 2024. See it →

First LLC at eleven, a social enterprise at seventeen, Founder, CEO and Chairman at twenty-one. The habit is the same at scale: own the outcome, flag the risk, keep moving.

Everyone is connected through the internet. Most of the world still cannot take part in global markets. That is an infrastructure problem.
Capital flows uphill, from the places that create it to a handful of developed nations, not because markets are efficient but because the rails to deploy it safely in-market do not exist at the speed, transparency and risk profile treasurers need. Fix the rails and value stays where it is created. When value stays, economies grow, and the pressures that drive migration, instability and tension start to resolve at the root. Sanctions and necessary controls stay intact. What changes is the default.
The convictions underneath the work.
The financial system should work for everyone.
Not just the people who already have access to it. The conviction started in a Rwandan village where money moved by text and has not changed since.
Where it comes from → First principlesEnergy into a system should produce an equal or greater output.
A first-principles test for any piece of infrastructure. If capital flows uphill from the places that create it, the system is leaking, and the leak is a design problem.
Where it comes from → WorldviewValue should stay where it is created.
When it does, local businesses get credit, local markets deepen, currencies stabilize and people take part in the global economy from where they stand. That is a macroeconomic theory of change, not a payments feature.
Where it comes from → CraftThe best infrastructure is invisible.
Nobody thinks about TCP/IP when they load a page. Nobody will think about the stablecoin when they pay a merchant. Build for that.
Where it comes from → FaithHumility is the posture.
Luke 14:11: those who humble themselves will be exalted. It is in my bio for a reason. Faith grounds the work and sets the tone for how I treat people in it.
Where it comes from → CharacterBuild the answer.
An LLC at eleven, a video company at twelve, a gum brand at seventeen that created work for more than 200 people with disabilities. When I see a problem, I build the answer, and I build it to reach the people who were never in the room.
Where it comes from →Build the next one with me.
